Green Juice Delight

Ingredients

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 pear
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 lemon
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pumpkin seeds

Directions

  • Wash all the fruits and vegetables thoroughly. 
  • Core the apple and pear, and cut them into smaller pieces. 
  • Cut the cucumber and celery into manageable pieces. 
  • Peel the lemon and ginger. In a juicer, add spinach, kale, cucumber, celery, apple, pear, kiwi, lemon, and ginger. 
  • Juice all the ingredients until you get a smooth consistency. 
  • Stir in the chia seeds and pumpkin seeds for an extra boost of nutrients. 
  • Pour the juice into two glasses and enjoy.

Note

  • This juice is rich in fiber, zinc and selenium. 
  • Celery is beneficial for sealing back the intestinal lining and providing relief from the leaky gut. 
  • Remember to drink at least 2L (8 cups) per day of plain water, preferably glass bottled water.
